How it started

If you are thinking of posting a photo of you with a tiger on Tinder, you may want to think again. You may think that it will make you look like a world traveler that loves adventures and a little danger, and get you a lot of dates, but think again.

Profile photos with the ferocious cat have been quite common on dating sites. On the dating app Tinder specifically, a lot of men and some girls posts their pictures with tigers. Photos with tigers are becoming out of fashion, and they are getting less and less attention.

In the last few years, dating photos were usually blurred party photos, selfies highlighting cleavages, travel photos, and gym photos. The idea of cuddling with tigers to impress future matches and dates seems passe.

According to users of Okcupid, Tinder, and similar, around 10% of pictures posted are people who have a slinging arm around a zoo animal.

I have been seeing a lot of guys on Tinder that have pictures with tigers. I find it entertaining, so I decided to share their photos on this blog and add some humorous comments.  This website will continue to be alive as long as I see people posts photos with tigers on Tinder.

Expanding to all things dating

By 2018 tigersoftinder had an average of 15,000 visitors every month and i was running out of Tinder related topics to blog about, so we started expanding to doing dating app reviews.  My posts best Tinder pickup lines, Tinder gold review, and best casual dating apps all got hundreds of visitors a month from google EACH!  So much so the ads on TOT were making enough i could quit my full time job and make TOT the online magazine it has grown into today.  We continue to add new content every Monday and have since reached 30,000 visitors a month with big plans for the future.

If you would like to write for us or have any questions or comments please drop me an email at contact@tigersoftinder.com.  Bye for now!
